Falling into Autumn!

Falling into Autumn

Are you excited for fall?!....Yeah me neither, BUT I have the perfect makeup look to get you in the Autumn mood!

This makeup look uses reds, golds, greens, and browns!

It reminds me of the trees when they change colors, so beautiful!

I wish this makeup could make the cold weather go away though, that is one part of Fall I do not enjoy.

Here is a sneak peak of the colors I used. Most of them came from the Naked 2 Pallet by Urban Decay but I also used Ulta's brand as well.

Here is the final result! If you want to see how I achieved this look, please visit my YouTube channel at youtube.com/hotpinkzebra09.

Butterfleyes....see what I did there

Wet n Wild Fergie Collection

Here is a nice pallet you can get for about $5-$6 and it actually has beautiful results!

I was really skeptical because of the price and I have never used Wet n Wild eyeshadows before.

I swatched the colors when I got home and was very happy with the results. I knew this would be a pallet I could play around with and potentially do a video about.

All of the colors looked so pretty, I had a hard time deciding which ones I wanted to use.......so I decided to use them all in one look!

I think it came out really well! I was very happy with the price of the pallet, the colors it came with, and the pigmentation of the colors. I have had the eyeshadow on for about 10 hours now and it still looks as good as when I first put it on. I would HIGHLY recommend this pallet for anyone who is looking for fun colors at a low cost. I am excited to try more Wet n Wild in the future!

No Mirror Makeup Challenge!!

No Mirrors? Really?

That's right, no mirrors in this makeup look! This was very fun and interesting to do and I honestly thought I would do worse than I did.
Check it out!

Before I put anything on my face. I was so ready!

This is the makeup I decided to use, and no I did not look in that mirror while doing this challenge. That would've ruined everything!

Well here is the finished results....

So sexy <3

I had to fix everything though because my mom was coming into town and I'm not sure how she would've felt about my funky eyebrows.

This was after I fixed it, I only had to fix the eyebrows, mascara all over my face, and the eyeliner a little. The foundation was fine, lipstick was fine, and the eyeshadow was doable. I thought I did pretty good. How do you think I did? Comment below!

Are you daring enough to take the no mirror makeup challenge? If so comment your links to your youtube videos and i will check them out!

Only $20?!- The $20 makeup challenge!

The $20 Makeup Challenge

Hello Everyone! I decided to attempt the $20 Makeup challenge this week! If you do not know what the $20 makeup challenge is, it's where you create a makeup look where the products and tools used to apply the products equal $20 and $20 only. I used products I already had on hand because I trust them and have used them in my normal makeup routine. These are products that I would highly recommend if you are on a budget and are still looking for quality. I had to look up the prices on websites just to make sure I stayed within the $20 limit. since they were purchased previous to the video and blog.
I hope you enjoy!

These are the products I used for my look!
Elf Eyeshadow Pallet- $5.00
NYX Za Za Zu Mascara- $6.00
NYX Lipgloss- $3.00
L'Oreal True Match Foundation- $6.00

Before $20 worth of makeup.

After $20 worth of makeup. Not too shabby I'd say :)

Here is a close-up of my eyes. I really feel like Elf has some pretty pigmented eyeshadows. They don't have any fall-out and they really stick to your eyelid. It was very difficult using the little, tiny brush that came with the pallet to blend out the eyeshadow so I would suggest you at least buy a $1 blending brush if you can. It would make a world of difference!

Annndddd here are my lips. I feel like NYX always has awesome products! I cannot complain for being a $3 lipgloss.

My Boyfriend does my makeup!

My Boyfriend does my makeup

Hello everyone! I begged and begged and begged for my boyfriend to do a video with me and this is what I get. I swear he was trying to make me look like a member of the band Kiss. Do you guys think he should do my makeup everyday?? Let us know!

Here is where you can find the filmed version....Much more exciting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh3TmDjPfkg&list=UU0UMdL7QkLaHuqSX8q-X6JQ

He seems pretty proud of his work here....hmmmmm.

Here is the makeup I laid out for him, I had foundations, blush, face primer, and bronzer laid out in one section along with the brushes, mascara and lip products in the middle, and eyeshadow at the end. I tried to make it as easy as possible for him without telling him what the products were but i don't think he got the hint.

This is what I looked at by the end. I think at first he was really trying and then as he kept messing up he just decided he would have some fun with it. The one thing he did really well was my lips! The lipstick and lipgloss went really well together.

Since he didn't want to do the video he said to return the favor I would have to walk around the house like this and let our roommates see his creation....they weren't to excited.

Mermaid Eyes

Mermaid Eyes!

Hello Everyone!
This makeup look reminded me of mermaids and under the sea! I felt like going blue today and decided to document and film this makeup look. I hope you all enjoy!
You will be able to find the filmed version on my youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKETZUGAGlo!

This look crazy! I started off with a freshly washed face and applied my Kat Von D Concealer to the red areas of my face. I blended with a concealer brush for an even distribution of product.

After concealing, I apply my favorite foundation, Celebration Foundation by IT Cosmetics. Here is the finished face!

After the face, I apply my Kat Von D eyeshadow primer to my eyes. It creates a nice smooth canvas for the eyeshadow to stick to. Here is my eye showing the primer.

Next, I apply some shadows from the Kat Von D Angeles Pallet and from Sephora. I used Aspen Summit in the inner corner and highlight, Bellbottom on the inner half, Peggy on the outer corner, and Bukowski in the crease.

After applying the eyeshadow, I apply mascara, eyeliner, cheek highlight, blush, lip color, and bronzer. Here is the final look!

Here are the three main colors I used!

My make-shift makeup area, on top of m boyfriend's clothes haha!

Little do you know, I actually really enjoy filming and editing my videos and blogs!! It's definitely a passion of mine :)

I hope you enjoyed! Please follow me if you would like to see more blogs like this. Also, You can find me on YouTube at youtube.com/HotPinkZebra09 and you can always subscribe to me there as well.
